Barry Isakson, AIA

Barry Isakson founded Architectronica in 1989 to provide high quality computer-aided practice consulting services and software to environmental design professionals.

Mr. Isakson has been involved in the Architecture and Construction industries since 1971. This experience provides him with a unique understanding of the computing needs of the practicing design professional. He currently practices in Redondo Beach, California specializing in providing computer-aided practice consulting services to environmental design professionals.

Among his many professional activities, Mr. Isakson has taught microcomputer applications in architecture at Long Beach City College and UCLA Extension. As a nationally recognized authority, he frequently demonstrates the application of Macintosh computers in design practice before professional organizations nationwide. Mr. Isakson has delivered over 300 seminars and public demonstrations on the use of computer technology in architectural practice, including appearances at AEC Systems and the American Institute of Architects National Convention.




























 

Mr. Isakson is the author of numerous software tools for design professionals including Architectronica, an information system for managing small to medium-sized design practices.

Mr. Isakson is a licensed architect, general building contractor and member of the American Institute of Architects. Mr. Isakson received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo in 1981.
